Charge Entry

Document Control / Data Capture:  We receive patient demographics in many forms – including paper, scanned documents and high tech electronic downloads (HL7 and PDA interfaces).  Our DC team works diligently to insure records are correct to maximize the number of clean claims for our clients.

Batch and Payment Entry:  PBN provides prompt submission of claims by using electronic 837’s whenever possible.  Its internal claim scrubbing process guarantees a high level of clean claims.  Posting of payments and processing electronic 835's are the missions of this team.  Contract review of allowables is automatically done as part of posting process.

 Accounts Receivable Management

Our AR staff is dedicated to helping clients get all the reimbursements to which they are entitled; in fact, we devote over 50% of our staff to chasing that last 10-15% of claims that aren’t paid on the first pass.  Denials and short pays are appealed and resubmitted in a timely manner.  PBN’s billing system analyzes rejected claims and builds automated, as well as custom, work queues to assist in maximizing results from efforts.

 Patient Customer Service

Our patient customer service reps provide courteous, prompt service to patients needing help with a bill.  Their goal is to clarify, correct, and resolve in a win/win manner.

 Client Liaisons

Our Client Liaison department provides the primary ongoing support with our clients. Their expertise and professionalism make working with PBN efficient and easy for our clients.  All are certified coders, and they provide ongoing physician training as needed.

 Technology Support
